Nikumasa in Hakuba-mura

I came here alone asking to sit anywhere. There was one group of 4 and one group of 2 currently eating at the restaurant. Otherwise, there were 10 other seats available including 3 full open tables. I was told they were fully booked. Despite asking to be seated anywhere including a single seat at the bar, I was turned away.

OMG amazing

Best steak house in Ecoland and they cook it perfectly for you so you don’t have to worry about how to cook your Wagyu perfectly. The Matcha chocolate brownie is amazing and highly recommend for others to try. Remember to pre- book to avoid being turned away.

Delicious steaks, fresh salad, great homemade sausage! We odered two beef, I odered rare cook and my friend was medium cook. Im sure rare cook was the best! They sell the high quality of beef!Remember to make a reservation before you go.Price was acceptable, service was calm and good (because the restaurant is run by husband and wife only).Keep going! We will be back! 👍

One of the best steaks I had in a restaurant. Perfectly cooked. Seasoning was great. And sofar the only place I found in Hakuba where you can get their local craft beer.

Located next to Hakuba Haven Lodge it is just a hop and skip to the front door where you are meet by Masa and his beautiful wife.The meals are the best, choose from Australian, American and Japanese cuts of meat, have a bottle of red or white wine and forget you are in the winter snow, My son could not stop going their.

Good steak, although it pull you away from traditional Japan.
